بِسْمِٱللَّهِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِٱلرَّحِيمِ
Reference basmalaAl-A'laa · Meccan · 19 verses
بِسْمِٱللَّهِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِٱلرَّحِيمِ
Reference basmalaPraise the name of thy Lord the Most HighWho createth, then disposethWho measureth, then guidethWho bringeth forth the pasturageThen turneth it to russet stubbleWe shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forgetAnd We shall ease thy way unto the state of easeفَذَكِّرْإِننَّفَعَتِٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
Reference 87:9Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminderHe will heed who fearethBut the most hapless will flout itٱلَّذِىيَصْلَىٱلنَّارَٱلْكُبْرَىٰ
Reference 87:12He who will be flung to the great Fireثُمَّلَايَمُوتُفِيهَاوَلَايَحْيَىٰ
Reference 87:13Wherein he will neither die nor liveHe is successful who growethوَذَكَرَٱسْمَرَبِّهِۦفَصَلَّىٰ
Reference 87:15And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayethبَلْتُؤْثِرُونَٱلْحَيَوٰةَٱلدُّنْيَا
Reference 87:16But ye prefer the life of the worldوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُخَيْرٌوَأَبْقَىٰٓ
Reference 87:17Although the Hereafter is better and more lastingإِنَّهَٰذَالَفِىٱلصُّحُفِٱلْأُولَىٰ
Reference 87:18Lo! This is in the former scrollsThe Books of Abraham and Moses
