Those who idolized the calf have incurred wrath from their Lord, and humiliation in this life. We thus requite the innovatorsLo! Those who chose the calf (for worship), terror from their Lord and humiliation will come upon them in the life of the world. Thus do We requite those who invent a lieVerily as to those who took the calf as a god, wrath from their Lord shall overtake them, and shame in this present life: for thus recompense we the devisers of a lieVerily, these have taken to themselves a calf; there shall reach them wrath from their Lord, and abasement in the life of this world; for thus do we reward those who forge a lieindeed those whom they took up the calf he attains them anger from their Sustainer and humiliation in the life the nearer life and thus We repay those who fabricatesGenerated from a table of word-by-word decisions, not written as prose.
