طَٰٓئِرُهُمْ

When something good came their way, they said, “This is ours.” And when something bad happened to them, they ascribed the evil omen to Moses and those with him. In fact, their omen is with God, but most of them do not know

But whenever good befell them, they said: This is ours; and whenever evil smote them they ascribed it to the evil auspices of Moses and those with him. Surely their evil auspice was only with Allah. But most of them knew not

And when good fell to their lot they said, "This is our due." But if ill befel them, they regarded Moses and his partisans as (the birds) of evil omen. Yet, was not their evil omen from God? But most of them knew it not

but when there came to them a good thing they said, 'This is ours;' and if there befell them an evil, they took the augury from Moses and those with him; - is not their augury only in God's hands? - but most of them know not

so when he came them the good deed they said for us this and if he befalls them bad deed they take as an evil omen at Musa and whoever together with him behold only their a bird with Allah but indeed their most not they know
