Those who believed, and those who migrated and fought for the sake of God—those look forward to God’s mercy. God is Forgiving and MercifulLo! those who believe, and those who emigrate (to escape the persecution) and strive in the way of Allah, these have hope of Allah's mercy. Allah is Forgiving, MercifulBut they who believe, and who fly their country, and fight in the cause of God may hope for God's mercy: and God is Gracious, MercifulVerily, those who believe, and those who flee, and those who wage war in God's way; these may hope for God's mercy, for God is forgiving and mercifulindeed those whom they trusted in and those who they migrated and they strived in path Allah those they hope for mercy Allah Allah forgiving MercifulGenerated from a table of word-by-word decisions, not written as prose. Arabic word order is preserved, so it reads stiffly and is not a substitute for a translation written by a person. Every verse is rendered, but the whole remains under review: words marked as judgement rest on weaker evidence than the rest and are flagged in place. No tafsir, hadith or existing translation was consulted.
