وَمَاكَانَرَبُّكَمُهْلِكَٱلْقُرَىٰحَتَّىٰيَبْعَثَفِىٓأُمِّهَارَسُولًايَتْلُوا۟عَلَيْهِمْءَايَٰتِنَاوَمَاكُنَّامُهْلِكِىٱلْقُرَىٰٓإِلَّاوَأَهْلُهَاظَٰلِمُونَ

And never did thy Lord destroy the townships, till He had raised up in their mother(-town) a messenger reciting unto them Our revelations. And never did We destroy the townships unless the folk thereof were evil-doersSimilar verses
