Those who ally themselves with the disbelievers instead of the believers. Do they seek glory in them? All glory belongs to GodThose who chose disbelievers for their friends instead of believers! Do they look for power at their hands? Lo! all power appertaineth to AllahThose who take the unbelievers for friends besides the faithful - do they seek honour at their hands? Verily, all honour belongeth unto GodThose who take the misbelievers for their patrons rather than believers,- do they crave honour from them? Verily, honour is altogether God'sthose whom they take up the one who rejects allies from apart from of the one who trusts they seek their with the eminence so indeed the eminence for Allah all togetherGenerated from a table of word-by-word decisions, not written as prose. Arabic word order is preserved, so it reads stiffly and is not a substitute for a translation written by a person. Every verse is rendered, but the whole remains under review: words marked as judgement rest on weaker evidence than the rest and are flagged in place. No tafsir, hadith or existing translation was consulted.
