God is All-Hearing, All-KnowingAnd whoso changeth (the will) after he hath heard it - the sin thereof is only upon those who change it. Lo! Allah is Hearer, KnowerBut as for him who after he hath heard the bequest shall change it, surely the wrong of this shall be on those who change it: verily, God Heareth, KnowethBut he who alters it after that he has heard it, the sin thereof is only upon those who alter it; verily, God doth hear and knowso whoever he exchanged after what he heard then only his guilt upon those whom they exchange indeed Allah all-hearing KnowingGenerated from a table of word-by-word decisions, not written as prose. Arabic word order is preserved, so it reads stiffly and is not a substitute for a translation written by a person. Every verse is rendered, but the whole remains under review: words marked as judgement rest on weaker evidence than the rest and are flagged in place. No tafsir, hadith or existing translation was consulted.
